Converge is a partnership between York St John University and local NHS mental health services, offering education for adults with lived experience of mental ill-health. Most of the courses are based in the creative arts, and the vast majority take place at York St John University on Lord Mayor’s Walk, taught by staff, students and people with particular expertise who themselves have experience of mental ill-health.

Converge offers the chance to learn and explore new ideas for self-expression and communication, aid recovery and work towards achieving goals in a supportive environment.

Courses are provided free of charge and are open to adults (18 years of age and older) currently receiving support for their mental health or who have experienced mental health issues.
